Autistic / ADHDer Playlist

The Autistic/ADHDer Playlist is a musical assortment curated by, and for, the Autistic and ADHD community. It is a collection where lyrics echo lived experience, rhythms honour sensory intensities, and melodies become a bridge between internal worlds and connection.

This isn’t a static collection. It is a living playlist, starting small, and growing with every suggestion and story shared. Whether you resonate with a track’s emotional weight or find comfort in its nuance; each song is an invitation to dialogue, understanding, and affirmation.

Do you have a song and story to share? Please let us know through our Song Suggestions page. We look forward to hearing from you!

WHY IS THIS SONG IMPORTANT TO YOU?

Creep - Radiohead

Anon: This song reminds me of what it was like trying to mask while growing up being Autistic in a small country town.

Seven - Taylor Swift

Anon: I think this song is deeply relatable to anyone who had a childhood friend whose parents weren’t always kind, or were that child themselves, especially neurodivergent kids who escaped negative family life into worlds of fantasy.

! (The Song Formerly Known As) - Regurgitator

Anon: I think this is a song that celebrates all of the joy we gain in finding environments and people that help us to conserve our spoons :).

Everything Matters - Aurora

Anon: This song typifies how neurodivergent people can see everything as interconnected. Nothing stands in isolation, and everything that exists reflects the environment and context it exists in, in some way.
